  • This passport is issued to Romanians traveling to India for tourism/visitation.
  • Passport should be valid for a minimum of 90 days with at least two blank pages.
  • A completely filled tourist visa application form.
  • Document(s) supporting the purpose of the visit, if the purpose is other than recreation, sightseeing.
  • Bank statement assuring the financial standing of the applicant
  • Flight bookings (entry to and exit from India).
  • Accommodation arrangements in India (Hotel reservations/accommodation). 
  • If invited, a letter of invitation from your host in India is required along with copies of proof of identity, and proof of address of the Indian host.
  • The Indian host shall email a scanned copy of such a letter to the Embassy at cons1.bucharest@mea.gov.in. 
  • Medical insurance.
