This visa is issued to Romanians travelling to India for business-related purposes. Passport should be valid for a minimum of 90 days with at least two blank pages. A completely filled business visa application form. Letter from the employer in Romania introducing the applicant with passport details, designation in the company, and stating the purpose of visit to India, duration of visit, number of visits envisaged, etc.  The letter shall mandatorily give details of the nature of the business in which the company is involved, the number of employees in the company, and the annual turnover of the company. Invitation letter from the Indian entity stating the purpose, duration, and number of visits for which visa is required.  The Indian company shall email a scanned copy of such an invitation letter to the Embassy at cons1.bucharest@mea.gov.in. The government of India provides that the nationals of Romania can visit India for a duration of 90 days by applying for an e-visa. This e-visa costs about US$80. Romanians are expected to have applied for the e-visa, at least four days before departure.  Tourists with the e-visa can gain entry to India through 28 airports and 5 seaports.
